01 We have just opened a new Children’s Home in Myanmar, Asia. Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, is in South East Asia and is bordered by Bangladesh, India, China, Laos and Thailand.
Myanmar has had continual turmoil and political unrest. For this reason there are many orphaned or abandoned children within the nation. Women have been raped and killed, babies and children have been abandoned and we have taken this opportunity to take in these children and give them a loving home where they can come to know the love of Christ.

On May 29th we were thrilled to welcome 25 boys to this new home! 02All the boys are between the ages of 4 and 12 years old and under the oversight of Pastor John Albert, our national overseer in Myanmar, the boys were brought in, settled and welcomed to their new home. They were so excited to arrive and were thanking God for the blessings they now had. Their own bed, new clothing and healthy meals to fill their bellies. Since their arrival, the kids have been playing, laughing and singing. They were very excited to start school as well. For some, this will be their first time at school and they couldn’t wait!

03There is a great need here right now and we are excited to be able to provide a safe and loving home to these children. As this is new project there will be many continual needs that will have to be looked at. We would like to Thank the women from many of our Canadian Women’s Conferences who gave to help raise money to support this new home. You have really helped to pave the way for an amazing future full of hope for these children.

We are now accepting sponsors for these kids. Each child is in need of a sponsor and the funds from your sponsorship support help to provide daily food, clothing and education for these boys. 04Without your help these children would have no future and for only a small sacrifice on your part, you can make an incredible life change for these young boys.  For only $50.00/month, you can provide them with all the help they need. However, if you cannot afford that we encourage you to do what you can on a monthly basis or even a onetime gift.  You CAN be the change in a child’s life.

Please consider sponsoring one of the children or passing this information along to someone you think might be interested. 05We still have many children in need of sponsors, from Kenya, India, and Cambodia. To sponsor a child you can contact me at 403-286-8337 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Thank you for helping to make a difference!
