THE BEST OF TIMES
AND THE WORST OF TIMES
Christians all over the world sense we are coming to the end of something and they are right. All things the way we know it now, are coming to an end. Peter said, “The end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.” (1Peter 4:7)
End time prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. We are coming to the end of the church age which will end with the rapture of the church which is the catching away of the real church from the earth. (1Thess 4:13-18)
After the catching away of the Church, the world will be ushered into the ‘Great Tribulation’, where all hell breaks loose. During this time the earth will experience Satan’s animosity against the Jews and against the tribulation saints. At the same time Gods wrath will be poured out on an unbelieving, rebellious world.
Before this happens we know that two other events take place at the same period of time upon the face of the earth: First, there will be is a great departure from the faith, people giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of Devils (1Tim 4:1-3 )
Second, there will be a great outpouring of Gods Spirit for an end time harvest of souls. (Acts 2:17-21)
Isaiah 60:1-2 says, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold darkness shall cover the earth. And deep darkness the people; but the Lord will rise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.”
This is speaking of a fully revived Church! This glorious victorious church, is one that is militant and miraculous, compassionate and gentle, full of grace and truth!
Victory Churches needs to be prepared for what’s ahead so that we can cooperate with God’s end time plan for the greatest harvest of souls this world has ever seen. (James 4 :7-8) We are standing on the threshold of the most dangerous and exciting times ever. And when we walk in the power and direction of the Holy Spirit, we will have all the authority, the favor, and the resources we need to get the job done. But it won’t be done without opposition.
(1Thess 2:18)
Satan hates Jesus and His church and will try everything possible to frustrate and destroy it. But we know that Jesus defeated and disarmed the devil and his cohorts at the cross. (Col 2:15) Then He said to His disciples, “I give you authority and power over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)
We are fighting from a position of Victory, with superior weapons, forces and strategies. And we win!We have read the back of the book.
There can be no army without recruitment or training. And the Revived Church is the vehicle God will use to equip leaders and workers for ministry in every segment of society. Ephesians 4:1-16 teaches us that the Five Fold ministry: the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher - are for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
