Building An Apostolic Culture
The importance of developing a godly, Biblical, culture in any Christian organization cannot be over emphasized. Victory Churches is a worldwide church planting movement that has a God-given mandate to plant church planting churches all over the world. Our vision is huge! But in order to facilitate the rapid advancement and effective implementation of such a large vision we need a “culture” that can adequately “carry” that vision to its fulfillment.

A God-given vision is extremely important, but without the proper culture in place, its success is uncertain. The right vision PLUS the right culture equals results!
What is culture? A simple dictionary definition – “The sum of attitudes, customs, and beliefs that distinguishes one group of people from another.” Every nation, every people group, every organization, every church, even every family, has its own culture - unique set of beliefs, mannerisms, way of thinking, and way of doing things. Culture is the unseen adhesive that helps to hold a group of people together with common beliefs, common values and common goals.

RICH CONTE
So powerful is a group of people with a common language, with common goals, and a determination to accomplish something great, that even the Lord Himself said in Genesis 11: 6 “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.” In this case, the building of the tower of Babel, was not a God-given vision. The people were not doing it for the glory of God but for their own glory.
